Rebone Organism'os is an ongoing participatory sculpture project about migration, reconstruction and the body as an open system.
The project consists of digitally sculpted, photopolymer-resin-printed bones, organs, joints and mutated anatomical fragments. A shared system of enlarged spherical connectors allows every element to be taken apart and assembled again. During exhibitions, visitors rebuild the sculpture into temporary skeletons, prosthetic structures, masks, wearable objects and unstable architectures. It never has a final form.
Ottone Radavi began the project after leaving Russia because of the war in 2022 and eventually settling in Paris. Asking local participants to reconstruct this fictional anatomy became a physical way of thinking about how a person is rebuilt by a new environment and by the people encountered there.
The forms resemble bones altered by an unknown autoimmune condition, or anatomical remains that have spent years underwater and slowly become covered with coral. Every component is digitally sculpted, resin 3D printed and finished by hand. New elements and improvements to the connection system continue to expand the project.
The project was first presented at Pop Up Gallery in Paris, 3-6 May 2026, curated by Olga Pogasova.
