The Hole is proud to present a two-person exhibition by LA-based artist Anja Salonen and Belgrade-based artist Maja Djordjevic entitled “Body Building.” In the show both artists depict the female body with a fresh perspective, loading it up with conflict or tension and building it up with paint.

FIRST DRAWINGS LAST SCULPTURES

NEW YORK, September 20, 2016 - Mitchell-Innes & Nash is pleased to present two simultaneous exhibitions of sculptures and works on paper by the late British artist Sir Anthony Caro (1924 – 2013), staged across the gallery’s Chelsea and Madison Avenue locations. On view starting December 8, 2016, this is the artist’s first exhibition in the US since his death in 2013 and his sixth with Mitchell-Innes & Nash, who has exclusively represented Caro in New York for 14 years.

CATCH AS CATCH CAN AN EXHIBITION OF NEW WORKS BY KOENRAAD DEDOBBELEER

Greene Naftali is pleased to present an exhibition of new work by Katja Novitskova, the artist’s first with the gallery, and her debut solo exhibition in the United States. Culling from myriad sources online, Novitskova mines the Internet for images and data visualizations, often specific to scientific research and elusive to the eye. Leveling the anthropologically familiar with speculative projections of the future, she aims to synthesize........

MAKING IT (JAMES CROSBY PRESENTS GARRETT MORGAN)

Team Gallery is pleased to announce a solo show by Los Angeles-based artist James Crosby. Entitled Making It (James Crosby presents Garrett Morgan), the exhibition will run from 17 November 2016 through 07 January 2017. Team (gallery, inc.) is located at 83 Grand Street, between Greene and Wooster, on the ground floor. Concurrently, our Venice Beach space will house a solo show by Gardar Eide Einarsson.

JTT is pleased to announce their upcoming move to 191 Chrystie Street. Located between Stanton and Rivington, the second floor gallery is a significant expansion with 1,500 square feet of exhibition space. Cole Sayer’s exhibition Wicked will be the last show at JTT’s current location at 170a Suffolk where the gallery opened in March 2012.
